Primary Role
The International Logistics Specialist at Myonex will report to the International Logistics Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing the international operations and logistics functions, which include the receiving and shipping of products. The position calls for the direct interface with the suppliers, Myonex staff, regulatory agencies, logistics carriers and client interaction when deemed necessary. The position is also responsible for providing clear and concise communication between Operations and Ancillary Supplies, Quality, Procurement, Client Account Managers, Project Management, Finance, and Warehouse Operations; and help to foresee problems with products or services before they occur.
This position is hybrid (three days onsite) based in Horsham, PA with working hours of 8AM - 4:30PM EST.

The position is also responsible for providing clear and concise communication between Operations and Ancillary Supplies, Quality, Procurement, Client Account Managers, Project Management, Finance, and Warehouse Operations; and help to foresee problems with products or services before they occur.

Duties
- Facilitate cross-border shipments ensuring that shipments adhere to customs regulations
- Tracks and documents shipments
- Create import/export documentation
- Process and ensure accuracy of customs documentation
- Provide an efficient interface with freight forwarders and administer all freight logistics and provide optimal level of customer services and resolve all shipment issues.
- Review for accuracy and Process freight invoices and broker bills.
- Assist in handling and resolving freight claims.
- Maintain control and ensure regulations to all import and export processes and monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all new custom requirements and supervise everyday operations according to standard procedures.
- Import and Export Freight Costs Data, Import/Export tracking for US Customs
- Maintain all files and paperwork relating to import/export matters.
- Assist in obtaining all required import permits and export licenses for all processes.
- Perform all record keeping processes and maintain records of all entries
- Evaluate all items for import and ensure accuracy in all values and collaborate with customer brokers to provide clearance of all imports and maintain required documents
- Perform audit on all import and export files on regular basis
- Monitor and provide response to all custom inquiries and requests and obtain required product certifications for all export and import products for custom clearance
- Collaborate with various departments and obtain all documents and ensure compliance to all import and export policies and perform regular audits on all broker activities

- 4-year degree in business or significant job-related experience
- 7 plus years’ Import/Export experience in a manufacturing or trading environment.
- Understanding of cGMP, CFRs, and DG guidelines as they apply to the pharmaceutical, medical device, and related industries.
- Advanced level skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and internet functions
- Strong understanding of highly regulated industries, process improvement, project management and working with freight carriers, customs brokers and third-party service providers
- Strong understanding of Incoterms, HTS Codes, import/export documentation and requirements.
- Previous experience leading and supporting projects that focus on performance management and operational improvement
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to effectively work and collaborate with multiple departments/functions. Work independently under general instructions, and be self-directed and motivated
- Strong leader, problem solver and team player.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range goals
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand Business Procedures and Process Flows
- Experience working with warehouse data and ERP systems
