Myo-Fit Mobility & Therapy is a sports medicine and health and wellness company located in and around Indianapolis, Indiana. This company was created by an athletic trainer because a gap in the wellness, fitness and the general public markets was discovered. As an athletic trainer, you know how our unique skillset allows us to provide care to the general population and physically active individuals. As a company of certified and licensed athletic trainers, we specialize in healing our clients through manual therapy techniques, rehabilitation exercises, ergonomic corrections and providing one-on-one care that is best suited for the client and his/her lifestyle. Athletic training has its roots in athletics, but as allied health care providers, our skill set spans to more than just sports. Our "uniqueness" is the diversity of our training and ability to detect, treat and refer a multitude of pathologies. We help our clients heal from injuries, correct postures and imbalances, perform manual therapies to prevent injuries and educate our clients on the nature of their body and how to treat it on their own.
Job Description
We are looking for a BOC certified athletic trainer (ATC) who is passionate about the advancement of job settings within our profession, fully utilizing your skillset as an athletic trainer, hard-working and willing to build business and marketing acumen. This position requires the ability to work with clients in order to evaluate and then heal them of their injuries or ailments to maintain functional levels of living and performance. Other duties that will be performed are: implementing treatment protocols and injury prevention programs, treating conditions and rehabbing the body to optimally function, promoting healthy lifestyles in nutrition, sleep, fitness, etc. and educating clients about their condition(s) and the importance of self-maintenance. Time is also spent learning selling and marketing skills as you learn to work with the general population and clients who truly appreciate our care and healing.
This position is an opportunity to work in a unique setting within our profession. We are seeking an AT who is willing to work a full-time schedule.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC certified and active
State Licensure in Indiana or will apply once hired
Bachelor Degree (minimum), Master’s Degree (preferred)
Preferred Skills
Skilled in manual therapy, human movement, rehabilitation, dry needling, soft tissue therapy, working with the general population, knowledge of sales, marketing and business culture.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
