About The Role
We’re seeking an energetic, people-centered Community Field Marketing Intern to help spread the word about our new Queens Workforce Development Center. This paid internship plays a key role in raising community awareness about our certification programs, career pathways, and youth development opportunities.
The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with the community, engaging with local businesses and residents, building relationships, and being on the ground to help connect the community to workforce and training.

About The Role

Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Promotions
- Distribute flyers and promotional materials in local neighborhoods, local businesses, high-traffic areas, and on cars (where permitted)
- Visit with salons, barbershops, coffee shops, laundromats, youth programs, community centers, libraries, and small businesses in Jamaica Queens
- Introduce the Queens Workforce Development Center and clearly explain our certification programs and career pathway opportunities
- Encourage attendance at our Open House, share event details, and assist people in signing up on the spot during outreach
- Communicate key benefits with quick talking point about our certification programs (career readiness, skill development, pathways to employment)
- Build positive rapport with community members, business owners, and frontline staff while representing MyndBridge professionally
- Assist with identifying potential community partners (youth programs, workforce groups, nonprofits) while in the field and flag them for follow-up
- Maintain a friendly, warm presence that reflects MyndBridge values
- Document daily locations visited, conversations held, and materials distributed
- Provide feedback on community sentiment and common questions
- Share observations about high-engagement areas and opportunities for deeper outreach
- Comfortable speaking with people and initiating conversations
- Friendly, energetic, and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation or ability to walk to local areas
- Ability to work independently and meet outreach goals
- Familiarity with Jamaica Queens community is a plus
- Must be able to lift boxes of flyers (up to 10–15 lbs)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Paid internship (hourly)
- 10–20 hours/week depending on scheduling
