Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing needs promptly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including bussing tables as needed
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods if required
- Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation management tools
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
- Experience with serving in high-volume environments such as nightclubs or restaurants is a plus
- Host/host experience or background in guest services is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
