Kennedys, a global law firm, seeks motivated Summer Associates to join our Inaugural 2026 Summer Program. Kennedys is a rapidly growing firm with twelve offices in the US, focusing on insurance coverage, general liability, professional liability, directors and officers liability, maritime and cyber/data privacy.

This is an 8-week program designed to provide law students with hands-on experiences, including research/writing/drafting, attending client meetings, handling discovery, and shadowing opportunities. The Summer Program will allow students to get a true picture of what it would be like to be an Associate with Kennedys. The ideal candidate has an interest and/or experience in insurance. We are recruiting ambitious, enthusiastic rising 3L students, who are fully dedicated to client service and enjoy working in a collegial, inclusive culture.

Ideal candidates will be team players and highly responsive to both colleagues and clients, with the ability to adapt their style as required. The Summer Associates will have the opportunity to learn from partners in our collaborative and supportive environment. Summer Associate can be based out of any of our US locations.

The Kennedys Summer Program will be educational, immersive, and fun!

Required Experience

  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Top academic performance.
  • Experience and/or interest in insurance.
  • Strong interest in community leadership and diversity.
  • Previous or current judicial clerkship or paralegal experience, a huge plus!
