The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Analytics and Data Migration architect with extensive experience in SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analytics, data integration, and data migration projects with a strong background in SAP environments like SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, BODS. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data solutions that support business objectives and improve decision-making processes.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration and ETL processes using SAP BODS.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop, test, and maintain complex data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows from multiple data sources into SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Support data migration activities, including mapping, profiling, and loading data into SAP systems.
- Work closely with the BI/Reporting teams to optimize data models for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Provide expertise in SAP data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- 8 years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics (using ETL/ELT processes) experience
- Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments
- 7 years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA experience
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics
- Experience managing projects and working independently
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive etc.
- Certification in SAP BODS or related SAP modules.
