Responsibilities
- Assisting in applying workspace governance policies (naming conventions, lifecycle standards).
- Monitoring dataset refresh schedules and report lifecycle activities.
- Supporting implementation of security configurations (e.g., RLS, OLS) under senior guidance.
- Tracking and reporting on usage metrics, audit logs, and capacity health using established dashboards.
- Collaborating with senior analysts to identify performance optimization opportunities.
- Maintaining and updating documentation for governance processes and operational procedures.
- Participating in training and knowledge-sharing sessions to build Power BI expertise.
- Foundational knowledge of Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop.
- Basic understanding of data modeling and DAX.
- Familiarity with SQL and willingness to learn scripting (PowerShell).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow governance standards.
- Eagerness to learn advanced Power BI administration and governance practices.
