The Role
As a Flex Operator, you will help drive our goals by:
- Processing and fabricating precious metals to defined specifications using approved procedures
- Setting up and operating production equipment including wire rod mills, bull blocks and wire drawing machines
- Monitoring equipment performance, changing dies and adjusting processes to maintain quality standards
- Inspecting products during production, correcting defects and escalating issues when required
- Weighing, recording and maintaining accurate material and batch records to ensure full traceability
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area while managing waste and scrap materials
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety
- Comfort working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
