The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key decision support partner within the Business Services organization, with a focus on the Credit Risk market. This role is responsible for delivering financial analysis, building financial models, generating business insights, and driving process improvements. A core component of the role includes developing monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
This position requires the ability to navigate complex financial issues, think critically, and develop innovative solutions that support business objectives.
The role is based in Alpharetta, GA, with a hybrid work arrangement.

About The Role
The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key decision support partner within the Business Services organization, with a focus on the Credit Risk market. This role is responsible for delivering financial analysis, building financial models, generating business insights, and driving process improvements. A core component of the role includes developing monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
This position requires the ability to navigate complex financial issues, think critically, and develop innovative solutions that support business objectives.
The role is based in Alpharetta, GA, with a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Independently gather, interpret, and analyze financial information to make informed assessments and complete reconciliations
- Develop a strong understanding of the Credit Risk market, including key products and value propositions
- Gain deep knowledge of financial systems, processes, and data flows
- Analyze large data sets to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and insights for finance teams and business partners
- Support month-end close activities by preparing and analyzing financial schedules and reports, understanding their impact on overall financial performance
- Identify inconsistencies, gaps, or anomalies in financial data and recommend appropriate resolutions
- Continuously evaluate and propose process improvements, documenting recommendations and assisting with implementation
- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams, answering questions and helping solve business challenges
- Mentor and provide direction to other analysts within the department
- Support and contribute to the adoption of AI-driven initiatives and tools within finance processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting with increasing responsibility
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems such as Essbase and Hyperion
- Strong understanding of financial system architecture and data flows
- Exceptional attention to detail with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and areas of concern within financial data and determine appropriate resolution strategies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated strengths in analytical thinking, planning, and decision-making
- Ability to perform high-quality financial analysis with minimal supervision
- Familiarity or experience with AI tools and technologies in finance is a plus
