Job Summary
The Business Unit Project Manager Intern will work on large scale projects/programs for a designated client typically related to quality assurance, systems, manufacturing operations, etc. to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction onsite at our Jabil Defense and Aerospace facility.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for oversight of key projects or for multiple, related projects / programs aligned with the JDAS Business Unit's strategy.
- Manages projects/programs under Business Unit direction.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources.
- Provides customer with Jabil point of contact and interface.
- Leads and implements specific programs both internal and external to Jabil that span functions, organizations, geographic regions and cultures.
- Leads and manages the development of specific products through the various stages of the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university/college as undergraduate Junior, Senior, Recent Graduate or Graduate Student
- Preferred Majors: Supply Chain Management, Business, and other related majors
- GPA: 3.0
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time, onsite in Saint Petersburg, Florida

- This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
- Strong project and/or program management skills
- Broad manufacturing knowledge (i.e. materials, processes, test, logistics)
- Strong Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) skills
- Fundamental knowledge of cost accounting principles
