SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the condition of the facilities, minor mechanical repairs and re-builds. This individual is also responsible for fabrication, project work, and PMs when required.

SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the condition of the facilities, minor mechanical repairs and re-builds. This individual is also responsible for fabrication, project work, and PMs when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain shop floor production machinery, crane, forklifts, and other minor machines
- Ability to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
- Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts
- Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments
- Ability to read manuals of equipment and interpret them to understand how to operate and maintain them properly
- Communicate with management and operators to inform them about equipment faults and best maintenance techniques to implement for maximum performance
- Perform PM and minor mechanical repairs
- Change oil and grease machines
- All building maintenance and repairs, external and internal
- Develop troubleshooting skills and techniques for equipment repairs
- Responsible for maintaining lock out tag out procedures
- Responsible for maintaining the facilities infrastructure, both internal and external
- Fabricate and build equipment and components for projects
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area
- Perform all other duties assigned by Management team
- High School Diploma
- 3 to 5 years Maintenance experience required
- Ability to operate machinery and any technical equipment
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Familiar with all OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Skilled in analyzing information and communication
