Myers Home Buyers is a Texas brokerage where the agents are investors first. Our founder has flipped over 3,000 houses and brokered more than 8,000 transactions, and he built the company he wished existed when he started out: real inventory, real buyers, and nobody standing between you and the deal.
The job
Sell investment properties to our cash-buyer network. You'll walk investors through the numbers — repairs, comps, what it's worth on the way out — run the showings, and drive deals to the closing table. Prove you can close and you'll move up into acquisitions, contracting your own deals. That's the seat everyone here is really after.
The money
Our new agents average between $60K and $90K their first year. Our best performing agents are currently earning into the very high six figures. The gap between those numbers isn't talent, it's reps. And reps are the one thing we have an unfair supply of, because the deal flow is already sitting here waiting for someone to work it.
Commission-based. You're paid on what you close, and nobody caps it.
Who does well here
People who want a scoreboard, not a performance review. People who can strike up a conversation in a title office lobby and walk out with two new contacts. Our agents compete hard and celebrate loud. If you've ever been told you're "a lot," good.
Who doesn't: anyone who needs a manager checking their calendar.
What you need
Active Texas real estate license, or final stages of getting one. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Reliable car, working phone, and the nerve to use both every day. Desire to learn and build something that is worth building.
