Quality & EH&S Coordinator
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality & EH&S Coordinator to support Quality Management System (QMS) administration and Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, supporting audits and corrective actions, maintaining documentation and reporting, and promoting continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities.
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and EH&S programs in compliance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and applicable federal and state laws.
- Direct QA activities including inspections, metrology, audits, quality documentation, records management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct and maintain internal audits and track corrective actions to ensure effectiveness and prevention of non-conforming issues.
- Maintain and track quality records including calibration logs, CARS/PARS, customer complaints, RMAs, MIFs, SDS records, and related documentation.
- Maintain safety cabinet inventories.
- Review and submit required reports and documentation including customer test reports, TDLR, and 1CB reports.
- Monitor and support EH&S compliance through facility walks, inspections, PPE monitoring, fire extinguisher checks, air/water sampling, evacuation drills, and employee training activities.
- Prepare and maintain monthly EH&S reports, meeting documentation, and annual training schedules.
- Review, revise, and recommend improvements to quality and EH&S processes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while supporting company goals and contributing positively to team success.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate degree – Industrial Engineering / Business or equivalent specialized experience preferred.
- 3–5 years of Quality and/or EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Lean/Six Sigma concepts preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence positive change through training and mentoring.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Temperature-controlled office environment with exposure to manufacturing areas including noise, dust, humidity, and moving machinery. Position requires extended periods of sitting, close visual work, and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs.
