About the Role

MyEducator is expanding the on-camera and review side of its finance and accounting course catalog. This role sits alongside the company's existing team of authors and SMEs.

Two specific deliverables:

1. On-camera segments. Record short video segments (concept explanations, scenario walkthroughs, lecture clips) that students see throughout the courses.
2. Content review. Read drafted course materials and flag anything off-base, out of date, or missing. Provide written feedback for the team to incorporate.

Why this role exists

MyEducator is investing in a broader range of voices and perspectives in its on-camera roster. Higher education today serves a wide and varied student population, and the company believes the experts students see on screen should reflect that breadth. This role is being shared with NABA, ALPFA, The PhD Project, and similar professional communities. MyEducator particularly welcomes applications from candidates whose backgrounds are underrepresented in finance and accounting.

Ideal Candidate

• Comfort and presence on camera
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-expert learners
• Willingness to give direct, useful feedback on drafted content
• Reliability with a project schedule

Strong backgrounds include finance or accounting faculty at an AACSB-accredited program, senior practitioners (controller, CFO, finance director, audit partner, or equivalent), and other experienced finance and accounting professionals. A CPA, CFA, or similar professional designation is a plus but not required. Teaching, training, or public speaking experience is also welcome.
