Marketing Specialist

At MyDefence, we develop world-leading counter-drone technology that helps protect military personnel, critical infrastructure, and society from evolving drone threats. As our North American business continues to grow, we're looking for a Marketing Specialist to help expand our presence and showcase our innovative solutions throughout North America.

Working closely with colleagues across North America and Europe, you'll support product launches, marketing campaigns, customer engagement, trade shows, and business initiatives that support the continued growth of our North American business. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to make a visible impact in a growing international company.

Role and Responsibilities

As our Marketing Specialist, you'll be the bridge between our global marketing team and our North American organization. You'll help ensure global marketing initiatives are successfully adapted for the local market and delivered on time while supporting product launches, customer engagement, trade shows, and the continued growth of our North American business.

• Support MyDefence's growth in North America by executing marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility and strengthen customer engagement.
• Localize global marketing campaigns, product messaging, sales collateral, and other marketing materials for the North American market.
• Help bring new products to market by coordinating launch activities across Product Management, Sales, Communications, and Marketing.
• Support the planning and execution of industry events and trade shows and other key customer events.
• Coordinate the development of presentations, sales enablement materials, digital content, and other customer-facing marketing assets.
• Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Communications, and external marketing partners to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing activities.
• Gather market insights and customer feedback to help strengthen future marketing initiatives.
• Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, coordinating stakeholders, and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing.
• Experience marketing technical, industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, medical technology, defense, or other complex products.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting product launches, marketing campaigns, trade shows, or sales enablement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% (domestic and international).

Experience within the defense industry is an advantage but not a requirement. We're equally interested in candidates who have successfully marketed complex B2B products in other technical industries.

Location: Reston, Virginia (Hybrid)

Travel: Approx. 15–20% (domestic and international) should be expected.

Start date: As soon as possible

Good faith salary range: $85,000-100,000 annually
