What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Specialist I position at Mycroft Construction Inc?
Job Description:
As a Construction Specialist I, you will oversee and observe the phases of our construction projects to ensure they are completed within budget, within scope, and on time as per the intended course of action.
- Responsible for properly documenting daily construction activities to ensure optimal progress.
- Observe significant, multiple, and simultaneous construction projects.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of construction contract documents, including front-end documents, general conditions including modified and supplemental versions. Additionally, maintains an absolute grasp of understanding in technical plans/specifications.
- Utilize construction knowledge during stakeholder correspondences in support of company progress. Assists in quality control procedures including documentation, correspondence, and proper project close-out according to established procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/construction engineering
- Valid driver's license.
