Job Description
MRG Exams is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. This position involves conducting focused, in-person physical examinations, reviewing electronic medical records, and completing required VA documentation.
This role is strictly assessment-based and does not include treatment, prescribing medications, or determining disability benefits. Disability determinations are made exclusively by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person disability assessment examinations for U.S. Veterans.
- Review and analyze electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
- Accurately document examination findings and complete required VA forms.
- Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings and medical documentation.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with VA and company standards.
- Deliver compassionate, professional care and service to Veterans.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Comfortable using EMR systems and web-based portals.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet documentation deadlines.

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday – Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- In-Person Position
- 3–5 Veterans per day
