Job Summary
As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting daily retail operations. You will assist shoppers on the sales floor, ensure merchandise is organized and attractively displayed, and maintain a clean and welcoming store environment. Your responsibilities also include operating the cash register, restocking items, and helping with donation intake as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales floor and register area
- Restock merchandise and ensure items are neatly displayed and priced correctly
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding stock needs
- Assist with sorting, tagging, and placing donated items on the sales floor
- Follow store policies and loss prevention procedures
- Support team members during busy periods with flexible task assignments
- Answer customer questions about store policies, products, and promotions
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holiday
