About Us
My Thai Restaurant is a locally owned restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine in a friendly, fast-paced environment. We are looking for dependable and hardworking line cooks to join our kitchen team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen organization
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, including dishwashing and general cleaning duties
- Follow all food safety and health regulations
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Multitask during busy service periods
- Support other kitchen team members as needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety is required
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Thai food and Thai cuisine is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Schedule and Availability
- Full-time and part-time positions are available
- Restaurant operating hours are typically 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
- A typical full-day schedule includes a break between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM
- Selected candidates must be available to work either full-day shifts or evening shifts, depending on business needs
- Evening shifts normally end around closing time, but shifts may run later on busy days, weekends, or holidays
- Weekend and holiday availability is required
Compensation and Benefits
- $15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
