Baker and Cake Decorator-Seasonal

Looking for a seasonal member for our growing team! Applicants must be punctual, have good time management skills, the ability to take direction, lift 25lbs, stand for hours at a time and maintain a positive working attitude. This is a flexible role, and a new set of tasks may be assigned depending on the business's needs for that specific shift. Days may include Thursday - Saturday & Monday with varying hours between 12-8PM thur-fri & , 7:30-3:30 saturdays & Mondays . Must be able to understand general baking terms and how to measure ingredients by weight. We are a "scratch" kitchen and prefer some from scratch baking experience but are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities include: assisting the main baker with prepping all doughs, batters, fillings, butter-creams from scratch, Rolling & cutting cookie dough. Baking items for our storefront each day. Keeping the kitchen clean and organized. Icing basic cakes. Ensuring everything in the kitchen is baked properly, consistently and up to our standards of quality. Assisting customers with purchases in-store. More opportunities are available to grow with us in this position.
