About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Storage Business Manager to oversee the daily operations of our storage business in Decatur, AL. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, professional property while providing excellent service to customers and ensuring smooth business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily storage facility operations
- Greet customers, handle inquiries, and assist with unit rentals and payments
- Maintain accurate tenant records and manage accounts receivable
- Market available units and promote facility services to maximize occupancy
- Oversee property appearance and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
- Monitor and enforce company policies, including security and access control
- Prepare reports, reconcile deposits, and manage petty cash or inventory
- Collaborate with regional management on business goals and performance
Qualifications
- Previous management or sales experience preferred (self-storage experience a plus)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or equivalent software
