We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Conduct product demos to promote new or featured items
- Upsell products and suggest additional items to increase sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising displays, restock shelves, and ensure the store is well-organized
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy
- Greet customers with friendly phone etiquette when answering calls or assisting remotely
- Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels throughout the store
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations
- Support in maintaining a clean and welcoming shopping environment
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery stores preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math calculations required
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
- Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for serving a broader customer base
