Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mentoring Coordinator & Life Skills Educator to lead and support youth mentoring programs. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to youth development and enjoys creating meaningful experiences that help young people grow academically, socially, and personally. The coordinator will plan mentoring activities, teach life skills, and build strong relationships with youth, mentors, families, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee mentoring programs and youth activities with our summer camp and After School program
• Plan and lead engaging group and one-on-one mentoring sessions
• Design and facilitate life skills workshops (communication, leadership, goal-setting, financial literacy, conflict resolution, etc.)
• Recruit, train, and support mentors and volunteers
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants
• Track attendance, participation, and youth progress
• Communicate regularly with families, staff, and community partners
• Support youth with academic, career, and personal development goals
• We need two male leaders for our My Brother's keeper program fostering, mentorship, and leadership with our other program with young men

Qualifications

• 2 years in youth development or education with strong communication and class management skills.
• Ability to lead engaging academic, creative, and recreational programs (e.g.,

ELA, arts, sports).

• Experience mentoring and coaching youth in life skills, goal-setting, and social-emotional growth.
• Compassionate approach with a commitment to empowering youth through supportive guidance
