Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are upheld
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming environment
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- Experience in upselling techniques and sales-driven environments to enhance revenue opportunities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
- Must have ABEL License
