What You'll Do
No two days are exactly the same, but your responsibilities will include:
- Clean and refresh guest rooms and public areas to My Place Hotel standards.
- Make every bed with fresh linens and inspect bedding for cleanliness and quality.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Open windows to freshen guest rooms whenever appropriate.
- Vacuum guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces while checking behind and under furniture for forgotten items or trash.
- Report maintenance issues promptly so rooms stay guest-ready.
- Complete deep-cleaning projects as assigned.
- Keep your housekeeping cart stocked, organized, and ready to go.
- Empty vacuums and dispose of trash at the end of each shift.
- Safely handle master keys and report any safety or security concerns immediately.
