My Pet's Vet is looking for a Full time Groomer to begin Immediately at our new Wilderness Oaks Animal Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. (located at 281 & Wilderness Oak) . We are looking for a candidate who loves animals and understands the importance of the parent-pet bond. Responsibilities and Duties
Your basic duties as a Dog Groomer at My Pet’s Vet are as follows
- Maintain the appearance of all varieties of canines
- Styling, bathing, drying, and combing dogs
- Ear Cleanings and nail trims
- Keeping all tools clean and sanitized
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum One-year previous experience as a pet groomer.
- Knowledge of basic canine styles
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Motivated and passionate about helping animals is a must
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision
- Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A commitment to outstanding client service.
- Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.
