Our client is a respected Dallas advisory firm that provides outsourced accounting and financial advisory services to small and mid-sized companies. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to build relationships with business owners across the Dallas market. What You Will Do
- Develop relationships with founders, CEOs, and business owners across the Dallas market
- Build referral partnerships with attorneys, bankers, wealth advisors, and other trusted business advisors
- Lead discovery conversations to understand financial, operational, and reporting challenges within growing companies
- Position outsourced accounting and advisory solutions that improve financial visibility and support business growth
- Guide opportunities through a consultative sales process from introduction through engagement
- Represent the firm at industry events, networking groups, and professional associations
- Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to craft thoughtful proposals and engagement strategies
The Ideal Background
- 4 to 8 years of business development experience selling professional services, consulting, advisory, accounting, HR, payroll, or technology services
- Track record of developing new client relationships within the small and mid sized business market
- Experience selling through consultative, relationship driven sales cycles
- Strong presence with business owners and senior executives
- Comfortable building networks within professional advisor communities
- Bachelor’s degree required
