My NW Event is a locally owned event rental and planning company serving weddings, corporate events, schools, nonprofits, and celebrations throughout the region. We’re looking for a dependable, experienced team member who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things right, and can represent our company professionally.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone with previous driving and physically demanding work experience who can safely operate company vehicles, work independently, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive company cargo vans and box trucks for deliveries and pickups.
- Load, unload, and transport tables, chairs, tents, linens, décor, inflatables, and other event rental equipment.
- Set up and tear down weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties.
- Inspect, clean, and organize rental equipment between events.
- Prepare rental orders accurately and keep the warehouse organized.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and event setups.
- Occasionally assist customers in the showroom and answer basic questions.
- Represent My NW Event professionally at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving larger vehicles such as box trucks, cargo vans, trailers, or similar work vehicles is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in delivery, warehouse, construction, landscaping, moving, event rentals, or another physically demanding field.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Weekend and occasional evening availability is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience towing trailers.
- Experience in the event rental industry.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Schedule
- Part-time with opportunity for additional hours as business grows.
- Flexible schedule based on events.

- Some early mornings and late evenings during peak wedding season.
