Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and leave feeling pampered. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing a variety of nail services while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements with precision and creativity.
- Apply nail art, gel polish, hard gel, gel x and acrylics according to client preferences.
- Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and recommend products for at-home maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools are sanitized.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design and techniques.
- Assist with additional services such as body waxing, hair threading, or eyelash extensions as needed.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to create appealing nail designs that complement clients' styles.
- Additional services our salon offers are permanent jewelry, teeth whitening, tooth gem, hair tinsels, facials and head spa.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations.
- Proficiency in various nail care techniques including manicures, pedicures, and acrylic applications.
- Knowledge of hair styling is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with body waxing and hair threading techniques is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and provide excellent customer service.
- Understanding of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
- Experience with dermabrasion or eyelash extensions is desirable but not required.
- A passion for beauty and aesthetics with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
