Come join our Team! Family owned/operated. My Montgomery Vet is seeking veterinarians to be part of our growing practice. We are a privately owned practice. Our state of the art facility focuses on client communication and strengthening the human animal bond, while delivering top notch service and care to our clients and patients. Not only focusing on great case work up and medicine we also specialize in minimizing patient stress and discomfort. At My Montgomery Vet we offer a shift work basis with very little phone time or follow up time necessary. Our low stress work environment allows you to focus on the case work up, treatment plans and the surgery needs of the patient. We are NOT a 24/7 emergency clinic, no nights and no on call necessary. We do perform several surgical procedures as well as work up great cases. Our user friendly software and great support staff allow for efficiency with medical records and case work up. We have the support for referral (if/when necessary) for all major life threatening conditions etc. We offer great flexible schedules/hours and work day flexibility. Must be able to work some weekends (9am-6pm) but have great flexibility and time off as well. Veterinarian Role/Responsibility:
- Explain physical examination findings and communicate to the client a diagnosis of the pet’s problems; present a treatment plan for the pet to the client; educate clients on all diagnostics and treatment plans. Initiate and perform diagnostic work ups, treatments, and case management.
- Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols; send reports to colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient.(templates provided) simple click and email.
- Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
- Positively represent the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
- Treat every client like family and each patient like your own pet.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of in which applicant is applying
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively and lead support team members
- Compassionate team player who can uphold and sustain a great working reputation with clients
- A commitment to practicing and learning great case work up and uphold the highest standard of medicine and veterinary code of ethics.
- At least 1 year of experience is preferred
