Responsibilities:
As an Ultrasound Technician, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing ultrasound examinations to create images of patients' internal structures for preventive and diagnostic purposes.
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during ultrasound procedures.
- Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring proper documentation of procedures.
- Required exams to perform: abdomen, transvaginal, and thyroid
Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in performing ultrasound examinations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
- Dedication to patient safety and the delivery of high-quality care.
Location and Hours:
- Location: 315 Madison Ave, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10017 (Conveniently located within a 3-minute walk from Grand Central Station, accessible via Metro North, Long Island Rail Road, New York City Subway lines 4, 5, 6, and 7.)
- Hours: Monday to Saturday: Between 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM (Time may change depending on the patient’s appointment. Minimum payment: 3 hours per day).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
