Are you a highly motivated Automotive Technician looking to gain more experience in a positive work environment with a growing company? We are hiring a career-minded B-Level Automotive Technician who genuinely cares about the clients we serve and who wants to be part of an amazing team.
We’ve been in business for more than 20 years in Elmhurst and opened our second location in Clarendon Hills in July 2020. This Auto Tech position is open in our Elmhurst location.
The Auto Technician we’re looking for has a strong work ethic, a drive to learn and do his/her best, and will be excited about the opportunity to help build a loyal client base. This Technician believes in going the extra mile for the customer without being told to do so.
What Skills and Experience Do You Need?
The Auto Technician we hire will perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid changes, vehicle inspections and other light to medium maintenance services as well as brakes, steering and suspension, exhaust, engine repair, and other general auto repair work. Some diagnostics and electrical work is performed also. Education and training in auto repair technologies is a plus, as is ASE certifications.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in an auto service environment, preferably in an independent auto shop.
- An associate’s degree or diploma from an automotive training program.
- A willingness to learn and advance their skill set.
To be considered, all candidates must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license with no major violations.
- Fluency in English. Spanish a plus!
