This is a full-time, on-site role for a Russian as a Second Language (RSL) Teacher, based in Easton, PA. The RSL Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging and interactive lesson plans for children, using diverse teaching methods to ensure language acquisition and cultural understanding. The role involves classroom instruction, assessing student progress, and encouraging a love for Russian language and culture through creative activities and cultural programming. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and contribute to community events and outreach initiatives.
- Proficiency in Language Teaching, with experience in teaching Russian as a second language
- Skills in Lesson Planning and developing engaging educational materials
- Background in Teaching and Education, with a focus on language acquisition
- Familiarity with Russian Literature and cultural context is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Russian Studies, or a related field
