What are the responsibilities and job description for the Liquor Store Cashier/Sales Associate - Flexible Hours position at My Kind of Place Liquor?
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier / Sales Associate to join our liquor store team.
Previous liquor store or alcohol retail experience is strongly preferred. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with customers, checking IDs carefully, handling transactions, stocking merchandise, and keeping the store clean and organized.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
- Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
- Check customer IDs for alcohol purchases
- Stock beer, wine, liquor, and other merchandise
- Keep shelves, coolers, counters, and store areas clean and organized
- Help customers locate products and answer basic product questions
- Receive and organize inventory when needed
- Follow store policies and alcohol sales procedures
- Help with opening or closing duties depending on the shift
What we’re looking for:
- Previous liquor store, convenience store, or retail experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and comfortable talking with customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting merchandise when needed
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
Schedule:We offer a flexible schedule and are happy to work around availability whenever possible.
