Job Description
As a Lead Pre-School Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing children for school success. You’ll lead a structured and engaging classroom, support emotional development, and create a safe space where children can explore, learn, and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Support children in expressing emotions and needs in a positive, respectful manner
- Foster independence, social-emotional growth, and self-regulation skills
- Use diverse teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
- Guide children through daily routines and structured learning activities
- Maintain open, effective communication with parents and caregivers
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with coworkers and administration to uphold high-quality standards
- Model and uphold the Early Childhood Education (ECE) code of ethics
Qualifications
- CDA certification or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with Pre-School children
- Familiarity with Creative Curriculum and age-appropriate teaching practices
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written
- Knowledge of child development and positive guidance techniques
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct
