We seek an exceptional Private Tutor to provide high-quality, personalized instruction to high school and early college students. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who excels in core subjects such as mathematics, science, and Language, and is passionate about fostering academic excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customized lesson plans tailored to the student's learning style and academic goals.
• Provide one-on-one instruction in Beginner to advanced mathematics, Science, and SAT/ACT prep, or your preferred specialized subject
• Assess and monitor the student’s progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Utilize various teaching techniques and resources to make learning engaging and effective.
• Prepare your students for specific exams, assignments, or academic challenges, ensuring they meet or exceed expectations.
• Communicate with parents, clients, or caregivers about your student's progress.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the student's needs, tutors must be available during the evenings, as well as on weekends.
• Schedule tutoring sessions with clients.
• Ability to travel to clients and teach in varying atmospheres

What to expect when working with My Home Tutor!

• You choose your work schedule.
• You will travel to clients' locations in your area to teach lessons.
• You set the travel distance to the client's locations.
• Receive multiple client offers every month.

Payment:

We send out payments via Zelle within 1-5 days of receiving your invoice more details will be explained in depth during the application process.

Required Job Specifications:

• Minimum of 3 years teaching/ tutoring experience.
• High school diploma. Bachelor degree preferred
• Proven experience working as a teacher/ Tutor
• Teaching certification, and or degree.
• A proven track record of helping students achieve academic success.
• This position requires candidates to have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Contractors are required to carry their liability insurance.
• Tutors are required to have their supplies ready for each student.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 Years of experience tutoring Math or Science.
• Experience: proven track record of helping students achieve academic success.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional teaching certification.
• Experience with curriculum development and Lesson Planning
• Experience working with students who have learning differences or special needs.
• Proven ability to prepare students for standardized tests or competitive exams with outstanding results.

Skills:

• Proven track record of strong subject experience.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
