Private Caregiver for Adult Female

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate ,dedicated , experienced ,trustworthy Caregivers to provide essential support to our daughter. She is paralyzed from the waist down, and has good upper body strength.She is in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our daughter by ensuring her comfort, safety, and well-being. The hours are from 3PM to 11PM with the flexibility to come in earlier on occasion for doctor appointments. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively, focused and independently. We are looking for someone that has freedom to control their own destiny.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and grooming.
• Monitor her health and report any changes in condition to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure that her rights are respected and upheld at all times.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to her fostering a positive environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe living space in her lovely home by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support in her home settings
• Administer CPR or first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Experience using a hoyer lift in the bedroom ceiling,taking care of an Ileostomy and foley care., foley care.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and the ability to recognize signs of distress or discomfort.
• Knowledge of basic skills needed like correct positioning, turning a person with a spinal cord injury to prevent shearing of skin. and maintaining proper allignment and comfort at all times.
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
• Certification in CPR or first aid is highly desirable.

I am putting a team of dedicated caregivers together to cover a total of 7 days per weekin her home..I am looking for female caregivers who are committed to making a difference in someones life, that can work independently but also be a team player. It is important to my daughter and us that only the best of the best make up her team. She would prefer a female with a CNA license.. Your compassion and skills can help create a supportive environment where she feels valued and cared for and listened to.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

• Do you have experience working with a hoyer lift , knowledge of assisting someone with spinal cord injury when turning and repositioning. Ability to work 3PM to 11Pm shift Monday through to Friday? Ability to come in early on occasion for doctor appointments.
