Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and facilitating patient benefits. MHC operates over 100 clinics in 12 states. This position requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Flexible Hours are available.
Duties
- Verify Patient Insurances for the Clinics/Providers
- Communicate as necessary with the Clinics and Front Desk Personnel
- Document benefits as necessary within the operating system.
- Update Urgent Requests as necessary.
- Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role or within the healthcare or insurance industry is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with the Clinics, Team Members and Providers.
