Job Description
Job Title: Pharmacist-My Pharmacy Crystal River
Possible Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8a -5p)
Essential Responsibilities
Enforce pharmacy policies and procedures
Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management
Accountable for safe medication storage, diversion monitoring and other pharmacy inventory activities
Resolve patient complaints and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
Ensure compliance with all applicable TJC standards and elements of performance (EPs)
Participates in CCRH QIQA (Quality Improvement-Quality Assurance) programs, including the review of error reports , drug utilization reviews, and adverse drug event reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university
Current and unrestricted Florida Pharmacy License
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
2 years experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent communication skills that will foster trust, clear vision, and mutual respect
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to resolve employee, client and patient issues with a strong service mentality
Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience opening a new pharmacy (preferred)
Experience with Rx30 (preferred)
