Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Counselor, based in Corpus Christi, TX, with the opportunity to work remotely for certain responsibilities. The Counselor will provide therapeutic support to clients, facilitate individual and family counseling sessions, and develop personalized treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include conducting assessments, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with team members, and assisting clients in achieving their goals through evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in counseling techniques, client assessments, and treatment planning
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in maintaining accurate and confidential client documentation
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and cognitive-behavioral therapy methods
- Adaptability to work in a hybrid setting, balancing in-person and remote responsibilities
- License or certification in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required
- Master’s degree in Counseling, LPC Associate or full LPC
- Experience in family counseling or high-conflict family dynamics is an asset
