What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at My Garden Cafe?
We are looking for an outgoing and friendly host/hostess to greet and seat our customers, serve beverages, assist servers in bussing and re-setting tables, cashiering, and in other miscellaneous ways. Must be a team player, a good multi-tasker, keep composure in stressful situations, and take initiative/be proactive in meeting the needs of our customers and co-workers.
Candidates must not have visible piercings other than ears (unless removable), visible facial tattoos, or unnatural hair colors please.
Saturday and Sunday availability is a must as these are the most important shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Efficiently use the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area.
- Assist in training new hosts and provide support as needed.
