Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Optometric Technician based in Pensacola, FL. The Optometric Technician will assist optometrists during patient exams, accurately record medical histories, and perform preliminary eye tests. This role involves scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and operating diagnostic equipment to ensure well-organized, high-quality care. The technician will also contribute to creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of optometry practices and the ability to operate diagnostic eye care equipment
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively
- Certified Optometric Technician preferred; experience in a medical office or eye care setting is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a high standard of professional, patient-centered care
