We are seeking a skilled and practical AI Engineer to help design, build, test, and maintain artificial intelligence features across our company products, internal workflows, and business systems. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong software engineering skills with hands-on experience using AI tools, APIs, large language models, structured data, automation platforms, and production-ready integrations.

The AI Engineer will work on AI-powered product features, prompt workflows, recommendation logic, candidate/job matching, AI scoring systems, structured data extraction, automation tools, data pipelines, and API integrations. This person will help turn business needs into reliable, scalable, and useful AI functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain AI-powered features across company products, workflows, and internal systems.

Build and integrate AI services using large language models, AI APIs, automation tools, databases, and web applications.

Design and improve prompt workflows for tasks such as structured data extraction, candidate matching, job matching, content analysis, scoring, recommendations, and workflow automation.

Create AI scoring systems, evaluation logic, fallback processes, and quality-control methods to improve reliability and accuracy.

Develop systems for processing structured and unstructured data, including resumes, job descriptions, profile data, business records, and workflow outputs.

Build and maintain data pipelines, backend logic, API integrations, and automation workflows that support AI-enabled features.

Test AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, formatting, bias, edge cases, and business-rule compliance.

Monitor AI performance, identify failure patterns, and make improvements to prompts, logic, data handling, and system design.

Collaborate with product, development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver practical AI solutions.

Research emerging AI tools, frameworks, APIs, and best practices, and recommend useful improvements.

Document AI workflows, integration logic, testing methods, system behavior, and implementation processes.

Stay current with AI trends, LLM capabilities, automation platforms, and software engineering practices.

Required Qualifications

Strong software engineering experience with the ability to build reliable, maintainable systems.

Hands-on experience working with AI tools, large language models, AI APIs, or AI-assisted workflows.

Experience developing backend services, automation scripts, API integrations, or data-driven applications.

Ability to design prompts, evaluate AI outputs, and improve AI performance through testing and iteration.

Experience working with structured data, JSON, APIs, databases, and business logic.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Comfortable debugging, testing, documenting, and improving AI-enabled systems.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, Azure AI, AWS AI services, or similar platforms.

Experience with Python, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, REST APIs, webhooks, and cloud-based services.

Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Pipedream, Workato, or similar tools.

Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, or recommendation systems.

Experience building candidate/job matching systems, scoring logic, resume parsing, or HR technology tools.

Experience with prompt evaluation, model comparison, AI testing frameworks, or output validation.

Understanding of data privacy, responsible AI practices, and secure handling of user information.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a practical AI builder who can move beyond experimentation and create dependable AI-powered systems. This person understands how to use AI tools effectively, but also knows how to add structure, testing, validation, and fallback logic so that AI features work reliably in real business environments.

They should be comfortable working with APIs, databases, model outputs, business rules, and automation workflows. They should also be curious, detail-oriented, and able to keep up with the fast-moving AI landscape while staying focused on building features that are useful, accurate, and maintainable.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote, full-time position. The role requires strong communication, self-direction, and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams. The AI Engineer will collaborate with leadership, developers, product stakeholders, and internal users to develop AI features that improve company products and operations.
