We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our boutique fee-for-service prosthodontic practice in Center City Philadelphia.
Ideally, we are looking for a Dental Assistant with prior experience working in upscale cosmetic/restorative dental practice.
Practice Location: The Dental Spa -1601 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19102
Schedule: Mon to Thu (8am-5pm)
Pay: $24-30/hr
Benefits: Paid Holidays, PTO, Health Insurance and 401k (subject to tenure based waiting periods)
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible to:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Perform various office tasks as necessary.
- Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
