FedEx Ground Senior Delivery Driver

MY Deliveries Inc. is currently seeking full-time and part-time weekend drivers who are looking to join a local logistics company. MY Deliveries Inc is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground located in the greater Boise, ID area.

Drivers enjoy independence on the road and develop a rewarding and enjoyable career incorporating customer service, road safety and driving skills.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, no felonies in the last 10 years
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must work weekends
• Must be 21 years old in order to apply for driving position
• Must be able to continually bend, stoop and lift packages ranging from envelopes to anything weighing up to 150lbs with provided equipment for assistance.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable package delivery experience (FedEx Ground,

UPS, Amazon, DHL, or similar)

• Driver Responsibilities:

· Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

· Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

· Collect and verify delivery instructions

· Report defects, accidents, or violations

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

· Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.

· Proper usage of handheld device to record all activity for the day.

· Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.

· Friendly to customers & team members.

Starting Pay: $175 - $250 per day DOE
