Role Description
We are seeking a creative, organized, and driven Social Media Intern to help grow our brand awareness and attract new families through engaging content. This intern will play a key role in designing Instagram content, short-form video reels, parent-facing posts, mentor spotlights, and campaigns that turn viewers into leads.
This is an ideal role for a college student interested in marketing, entrepreneurship, communications, branding, education, or startups.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
- Understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas
- Familiarity with analytics tools and understanding of audience engagement
- Organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines
- Passion for education and helping students succeed
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Position Overview
- Create weekly content calendars for Instagram and other platforms
- Design eye-catching posts, carousels, and story graphics
- Film/edit short-form reels that appeal to parents and students
- Highlight mentor success stories, student wins, and College MAPS offerings
- Develop viral-style educational content around college admissions, productivity, study tips, and student success
- Help promote workshops, webinars, and events
- Track analytics and recommend growth strategies
- Research trends, sounds, and content styles that increase reach
- Brainstorm creative campaigns to generate inquiries and sign-ups
