What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Residential Claim Project Manager (Public Adjuster) position at My Claim Warrior?

We are looking for an organized, fast-paced, detail-oriented Residential Claim Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day movement of claims through our internal process.

This is an operations role—not a field adjusting position. Your mission is to ensure every claim continues moving forward efficiently by coordinating our team, tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and driving accountability.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of residential insurance claims from intake through settlement.
  • Ensure Claim Consultants, Estimators, Negotiators, and supporting team members complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Monitor claim progress daily and proactively identify stalled or delayed claims.
  • Coordinate communication between internal departments to keep claims moving efficiently.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, documentation, inspections, estimates, supplements, negotiations, appraisals, and litigation handoffs.
  • Review claim status reports and prepare operational reports for management.
  • Escalate issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and workflow tracking.
  • Improve operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and workflow opportunities.
  • Ensure every homeowner receives timely updates throughout the claim process.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • 3 years of project management or operations experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience managing numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable holding team members accountable to deadlines.
  • Experience using CRM or project management software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Public Adjusting.
  • Experience with residential insurance claims.
  • Knowledge of property damage restoration.
  • Understanding of homeowner insurance claims.
  • Experience working with contractors, restoration companies, or insurance carriers.
  • Familiarity with fire, water, storm, wind, and roof damage claims.
  • Knowledge of Xactimate or insurance estimating workflows is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

You enjoy building order from chaos.

You naturally stay ahead of deadlines, communicate proactively, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. You can manage dozens—sometimes hundreds—of active claims simultaneously while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.

You are comfortable working with multiple departments, solving operational problems quickly, and ensuring every claim progresses efficiently toward settlement.
