My City Home Inspector is seeking a highly organized, results-driven Field Operations Manager to lead and support our inspection team, scheduling operations, training initiatives, and overall field performance.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring inspection demand is efficiently converted into completed work while maintaining exceptional customer experiences, operational consistency, and team accountability. The Field Operations Manager serves as the bridge between leadership, inspectors, schedulers, and clients to ensure daily operations run smoothly and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Directly manage home inspectors, team leads, and scheduling personnel.
  • Monitor daily team performance and productivity.
  • Reinforce company standards, expectations, and accountability.
  • Track and review inspector KPIs, performance metrics, and operational goals.
  • Identify performance concerns early and implement corrective action plans.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development efforts.
  • Foster a positive, productive, and high-performance team culture.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and accountability meetings.

Scheduling & Workflow Optimization

  • Oversee daily scheduling operations to maximize efficiency and utilization.
  • Ensure inspections are scheduled accurately with complete notes, scope details, and expectations.
  • Balance workloads across inspectors to maximize productivity and customer service.
  • Identify scheduling bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  • Improve operational workflows to reduce delays, errors, and missed opportunities.
  • Maintain adequate inspection coverage and booking availability.

Training & Onboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding and training for new inspectors.
  • Manage ATI, InterNACHI, state licensing, and continuing education programs.
  • Track certification progress, licensing requirements, and training completion.
  • Conduct field evaluations to assess inspector readiness.
  • Maintain training records, documentation, and development timelines.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of training systems and SOPs.

Inventory, Equipment & Field Support

  • Manage inspector tools, equipment, technology, and supplies.
  • Ensure inspectors are fully equipped to perform all company services.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve field efficiency through equipment and technology enhancements.

Customer Resolution & Quality Assurance

  • Respond to client, agent, and partner concerns.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and resolution processes.
  • Support repairs, refunds, vendor coordination, and service recovery efforts.
  • Identify trends and implement solutions that reduce recurring issues.
  • Escalate complex situations appropriately.
  • Ensure inspectors adhere to company quality standards and SOPs.

Safety & Compliance

  • Reinforce field safety practices and company operating procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and company standards.
  • Track certifications, continuing education, and renewal deadlines.
  • Assist with insurance documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and accountability.

KPI Tracking & Operational Reporting

  • Monitor weekly inspector KPIs including:
    • Inspection volume
    • Inspector utilization
    • Review generation
    • Ancillary service attachment
    • Resolution rates
    • Revenue performance
  • Maintain EOS scorecards and operational dashboards.
  • Prepare reports for leadership meetings and performance reviews.
  • Keep team performance visible and measurable.

Qualifications

Required

  • Leadership or management experience in operations, field services, construction, home services, inspections, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with technology, scheduling software, and operational reporting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

  • Experience in home inspections, real estate services, construction, property services, or trades.
  • Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
  • Experience leading field service teams.
  • Knowledge of InterNACHI, ATI, or home inspection licensing requirements.
  • Experience with KPI management and operational scorecards.
