Job Description
The Staff Pad is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner for a full-time opportunity in Pomona, California with a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing preventive and primary care services to underserved communities.

Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in delivering primary care services to patients and families. This position focuses on providing comprehensive medical care, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services in a patient-centered clinical setting.
- Conduct health assessments and physical examinations for adult and pediatric patients.
- Diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic testing.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and patient self-management goals.
- Refer patients to specialty care providers when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Submit appropriate billing codes reflecting diagnosis and services provided.
- Participate in safety programs and emergency response teams as assigned.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with policy and procedure development.
- Complete all mandatory training requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Master’s preferred)
- Active California RN and Nurse Practitioner license
- Specialty certification
- Current DEA license
- CPR certification
- Proficiency with an Electronic Health Record system
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Commitment to respectful and compassionate patient care
