Job Overview

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
- Handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals safely following established safety protocols
- Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors in pristine condition
- Conduct sanitation procedures including trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting as needed in residential or commercial settings
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning equipment or bulky supplies to prevent injury
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any facility maintenance issues promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents
- Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and sanitation standards
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards in busy environments
Pay: $16.50 - $22.50 per hour
